An Edinburgh foodie hotspot has gone viral with it’s controversial menu addition on social media platform Tiktok.
Scran Bistro, the popular city centre restaurant, shared a video of their Macaroni cheese wrap with a side of “pizza” fries.
The Cockburn Street eatery shared the video of the delicious wrap oozing with macaroni and cheese with fries covered in tomato sauce and pepperoni on the side.
The stunning cafe and restaurant is located just a five minute walk from Waverly Station and minutes from the Royal Mile.
The double carb loaded dish received mixed reviews online with some finding it too much and others saying they would travel to Edinburgh solely to try it out.
They shared the mouth watering video of the wrap captioned: “You don’t wanna miss this #scranbistro #edinburghfoodie #edinburgh #scottishfoodie #edinburghfoodplaces .”
The TikTok video has gained over 500,000 views and 41,000 likes since it was posted two days ago.
But viewers had mixed opinions over the carb loaded dish.

The super instagrammable spot is known for its brunches and recently opened a second location this year called Scran New Town on the other side of the arcade.
Created by Edinburgh maximal design studio Ja!Coco! the interior which boasts pastel pink walls, neons, huge flower installations, checkerboard floors and soft booths has made Scran Bistro one of the hotspots in the capital.
