Edinburgh Food Festival set to return this July with incredible street food vendors

Everyone's favourite Assembly's Edinburgh Food Festival is set to return to the capital this summer with five extra days.

The annual foodie event, which first launched in 2014, will drop down in George Square from 19-28 July.

The entirely free festival welcomes visitors of all ages and will host over 20 local producers and street food vendors, serving up some the best food and drink from all over Scotland.

These will include the likes of Alandas Gelato and Fish & Chips, Jarvis Pickle pies and Chick & Pea street food, as well as a selection popular drinks brands, including Fyne Ales from Argyll.

Organisers have also revealed a special line-up for this year's event, with a series of meet the local producer events and chef demos.
