An Edinburgh food bank are appealing for Christmas volunteers to help them cope with demand during the festive season.
The Edinburgh Food Project operates seven food bank centres across the city, providing emergency supplies for local people in crisis.
They are now seeking volunteers in Edinburgh to support the food bank with the "Christmas madness".
Taking to social media, Edinburgh Food Project said: "With our Christmas appeal officially launched please be prepared for a LOT of Christmas posts!
"We are currently looking for volunteers to support us with the Christmas madness in Edinburgh Food Project!
"This is the perfect opportunity for those who haven't yet volunteered to get in on the action and get a taste of the festive madness!"
The organisation have administrative roles, as well as transport and supermarket collections roles.

The food bank organisation has supported thousands of people in the capital with emergency food parcels since first opening in 2012.
