Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019: Seeking Edinburgh residents to host artists in their 'spare room'

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is one of the largest arts festivals in the world.

But for the thousands of artists who flock to the capital to put on shows and performances, many of which are free, it can be a costly experience.

Theatre Digs Booker has partnered with Edinburgh Fringe to try and make accommodation more affordable for all participants at the festival.

On their website, the online accommodation provider writes: "With over 54,000 performances throughout the festival period, the demand for accommodation is high."

Adding that they are looking for a spare room or whole property that residents in Edinburgh would like to rent out during the Fringe, taking place in August.

You can register your property with Theatre Digs Booker via their website here.

If you are an aspiring producer the Fringe are also looking for applicants for their "emerging producers development programme", which will help you break into the arts industry.
