Emergency services raced to an ongoing incident on Saturday evening

The incident at Brunstfield Place and Brunstfield Avenue was reported at around 6.00pm on Saturday October 8.

Several police cars and ambulances can be seen outside a flat tenement in Brunstfield.

One eyewitness said: "There are cop cars everywhere with their sirens blaring and now three ambulances have arrived."

Edinburgh police have been contacted.
