Halloween is upon us, with just over a week to go before horror die-hards dig out their creepiest outfits to scare the locals stiff.
But sometimes zombie-bride dress up and plastic skeletons hanging in the door way isn't enough for thrill-seekers looking for a little extra terror.
Thankfully the Edinburgh Dungeons has you covered with a special séance sleepover, according to Edinburgh Live .
A relaxing night away at the spa this is not. Expect enough blood, gore, chills and frights to give Freddy Krueger nightmares.
The spooky evening will kick off with some terrifyingly good grub at the Hard Rock Café before descending into the Dungeons for the last tour of the day.
This includes the new "The White Lady – Bloody Revenge" ghost show, which tells the story of the vengeful 17th century Scottish murderess, Lady Christian Nimmo.
Then, it’s time for the real fun to start when the séance begins.
Guided by a professional medium using a Ouija board, guests will summon spirits lurking in Edinburgh Dungeons.
After trying to converse with spirits, you will be taken to the Torture Chamber to rest in peace in a custom-built coffin, which comes complete with your own skeleton pyjamas and slippers.
When you wake (if you've slept) there is a complimentary breakfast waiting for you at Motel One Hotel.

How to book?
The experience is exclusively available to book on Booking.com from Friday 25 October here .
The séance sleepover is priced at £66.60 for a one night stay for two people on 31 October.
'Few would brave the depths and darkness'
Stuart Jarman, General Manager at The Edinburgh Dungeon says: "Here at The Edinburgh Dungeon we pride ourselves on dishing out Scary Fun all day long to visitors who love the thrills of our immersive underground journey through history.
"However, few would brave the depths and darkness of the Dungeon after hours where there is no guarantee who, or what, our overnight guests may meet! We wish the lucky pair who book this unique stay the best of luck.
"Only the brave will survive…”
