Edinburgh domestic abuse charity urgently needs clothes and more for newborn baby

An Edinburgh domestic abuse charity has issued an urgent appeal for supplies for a newborn.

Edinburgh Women's Aid offer support to women, children and young people at risk of domestic abuse in the capital.

The charity are currently in the process of supporting a young mum and her two-week-old baby - but they need your help.

They are urgently appealing for essential baby products, do you have old clothes, a second hand pram or sleeping bag you could donate?

In a statement, Edinburgh's Women Aid said: "Can you help? We are supporting a young mum and baby boy (2 weeks old ) who is in urgent need of vital baby products like a pram, baby clothes and in particular a sleeping bag.
