Edinburgh dog owner has puppy 'stolen from home' while she went to Asda

An Edinburgh woman was left ‘shaking and trembling’ after coming home from Asda to find her puppy had been stolen.

Hayley Jempson claims her nine-week-old Olde English Bulldog was taken from her home on Craigmillar Castle Road at around 11pm on Sunday, August 22.

The local had left her puppy at home with her other dog Charlii so that she could pick up shopping from Asda and when she returned her front door was badly damaged and had been opened.

Nothing else was stolen from her property other than puppy Cooper who had been sleeping in his cage.

Her other dog Charlii was not stolen and was left ‘quivering’ and ‘pining’ for the puppy after the ordeal.

Owner Hayley said that Cooper is still on a ‘special diet’ because he’s so young and hasn’t had his second set of jags yet.
