Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home: 'Cheeky wee character' Jack is looking for his forever home this winter

One of Edinburgh's most adorable dogs is on the hunt for his new forever home this winter.

Jack, a Jack Russell Terrier, is appealing to locals to make him part of their family with the help of the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.

The one-year-old pup is looking for an experienced owner who is willing to "carry on his training".

Described by the shelter as a "cheeky wee character", Jack is a fun and lively dog who loves to be played with and enjoys running around with toys.

As well as having one of the cutest faces around, he can also be quite boisterous and vocal, which he is hoping to control a little more with some training.

The EDCH have also stated that the wish to rehome Jack in a family with no other cars or dogs, adding:

"He would suit an adult only home where there are no visiting children under the age of 14.

"He’s also not keen on other dogs so needs to work on his doggy socialisation. Jack will make all the work worthwhile for his new owners, as they are sure to fall in love with his happy and affectionate nature."

Those interested in rehoming Jack have been asked to visit the EDCH's 'How to Rehome' page and complete an interest form.

So far, Jack has received a healthy amount of interest, however there are a host of other animals waiting to find their forever family that can be found here.
