Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home auctioning signed Christmas Hibs shirt for charity

If you are looking for the perfect gift for the Hibs daft person in your life then you could be in luck, as animal welfare group One Voice for Animals are auctioning off a signed 2018/19 Season Hibernian FC football shirt, which has been professionally framed and is ready to hang.

The auction will go live on Facebook on the 29 November and the money from the highest bidder will be donated to Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, who have had a tough year due to the pandemic.

In 2020 the animal home has been hit hard financially with projected losses of over £650,000.

Gillian Graham, Fundraising Manager at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home said;“We are so grateful to One Voice for Animals for supporting the Home through their Christmas online auction.

"We know that Hibs have a huge and loyal fan base and that this will make a perfect gift for any supporter.

"Now more than ever the Home needs the support of the local community, after a difficult year with much of our fundraising activities cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.”

The auction goes live from 29 November and will close for bids on 5 December at 7pm and you can enter here.
