Love them or hate them Brussel Sprouts are considered a key part of the Christmas menu.
Now, an Edinburgh Gin Distillery has taken it one step further by giving gin fans the chance to add them to the drinks menu too with a unique new Brussel Sprout Gin.
Pickering's, who are based at Sumerhall in the capital, originally launched the unique festive flavour as part of their Christmas gin bauble range.
Where it featured alongside other Yule themed gins such as Figgy Pudding, Festive Cranberry and Plum and Ginger.
Incredibly, the Brussel Sprouts version proved so popular they brought it back to buy as a 20cl bottle priced at £12.
A big hit with fans, the team at Pickering's sourced 10,000 sprouts from Perthshire to make this year's batch, with the resulting green-tinged spirit described as "herbaceous and surprisingly sweet".
The gin has been a surprise sell-out with stocks continuing to sell out on the distiller's website.
Don't worry though, sprouts fans can still buy it from third party websites like Master of Malt or as part of Pickering's gin bauble pack.
