An Edinburgh local has captured the moment a cyclist face planted into Inverleith Pond on just your average Thursday night in the capital.
A lot happens in the short clip, taken by Thomas Pullar, as onlookers have just seconds to take in the man - who was wearing only his boxers - as he appears to make a beeline for the water.
And, right enough, the cyclist flies down the verge in Inverleith Park before flying off his bike and into the (refreshing?) water.
Admittedly, the temperature was positively balmy on Thursday as the capital reached glorious highs of up to 16C, making it one of the hottest days so far this year - but is it taps aff weather yet?
It wasn't so long ago that Edinburgh was hit with freezing temperatures that saw the same pond frozen over.
With locals looking for something to do in lockdown, people flocked to the ice at Inverleith Park. Images showed a busy pond strewn with visitors engaging in everything from hockey to ice skating and walking their dogs over the weekend.
There was even a talented ice-skater who blew onlookers away after giving a stunning performance on the frozen pond, performing pirouettes for stunned locals.
In stark contrast, this week has brought a mini March heatwave as crowds descended on the Meadows, with locals describing it as looking like "Glastonbury".
Despite many revellers breaking Covid rules, police advised that they would be patrolling the area but had not handed out any fines.
