A Liberton local has described the terrifying moment a reckless driver drove up the wrong side of the road to overtake him on the morning of January 24.
Edinburgh cyclist Stevie was on his way home from Tesco along Ladywell Road / Corstorphine High Street when he caught the driver in a white car on camera speeding against the keep left arrow of the road.
In a video seen by Edinburgh Live, the car speeds up before overtaking the cyclist on the wrong side of the traffic island.

Local Stevie said that his patience for Edinburgh drivers is "rapidly diminishing."
Stevie told Edinburgh Live: "I was just cycling home from Tesco along Ladywell Road / Corstorphine High Street, when I heard the driver behind accelerating.
"I looked to my right, expecting to see them squeezing between me and the traffic island, but saw them driving on the wrong side of the island, against the keep left arrow.

"I gather there's been several recent accidents there, and with driving like that it's no surprise unfortunately."
