Edinburgh couple to feature on new series of I Can See Your Voice this weekend

An Edinburgh couple is set to appear on a brand new series of BBC One's I Can Your Voice this weekend.

The first episode will see married couple, Heather and Kaveh from Edinburgh, using their sleuthing skills to spot the fakes, and win £10,000 - without ever hearing the singers open their mouth.

The Daily Record reports that singer Becky Hill will be on hand to help spot the imposters. However, with a line-up that includes a tour guide, theatre manager and psychologist, they could have their work cut out for them.

Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, and joined by celebrity investigators, Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden, I Can See Your Voice airs on BBC One this weekend.

With £10,000 on the line, the players will attempt to weed out the bad singers, based on a series of clues, interrogation, and lip sync performances.

By the end, the last mystery singer standing will reveal if they are a good or bad singer in a song with Becky Hill, resulting in either a magical musical moment or an awkward duet.

Each week a music artist appears on the show, which includes Scottish singing legend Lulu, Steps’ Claire Richards, Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, The X Factor winner and West End star Alexandra Burke, Erasure’s Andy Bell, BRIT award-winner Becky Hill, Blue’s Simon Webbe and West End and TV star Layton Williams.

I Can See Your Voice airs on Saturday, at 9.10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Catch up on previous episodes on BBC iPlayer here.
