An Edinburgh couple have had a BBC documentary made about their lives after gaining popularity online as influencers.
Charlie Allan and Lauren Faulkner shot to fame online gaining thousands of followers and creating their YouTube channel entitled "Trans Life & Wife" where the couple speak about Charlie transitioning from female to male and Lauren's mental health battles.
The pair now have their own documentary on BBC Iplayer called 'Not your average influencers' where Charlie documents his transgender journey and Lauren opens up about her struggle with severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
The influencer duo have now made social media their full time job, with Charlie admitting that he gets paid £500 to make just a ten minute video.
Lauren has also used her social media following to cash in on the earning potential of over 18s content subscription service Only Fans, where she can earn up to £3000 for posting racy pictures.
But despite their glamorous lifestyle the couple are open about their struggles, with Lauren speaking out about her battle with OCD, panic attacks and Emetophobia which gives her a severe fear of vomiting.

Charlie also talks about his journey being born in the wrong body and becoming hyper feminine in school to hide the fact he actually wanted to become a male.
