An Edinburgh contestant on The Chase was called the “biggest idiot” he’d ever seen by Chaser Paul Sinha during yesterday’s episode of the show.
Yesterday evening’s episode saw four contestants work together in the hope of winning a grand prize and taking down the Chaser - Peter, Gordon, Helen and Chloe.
Gordon, 32, an ancient history student from Edinburgh University, had been asked by comedic host Bradley Walsh who he would like to see walk out as Chaser.

Gordon, who was first up, said that he wanted to be up against The Sinnerman, saying: "Probably Paul. I think he seems like a cool guy, a really gracious guy, he might go easy on me."

And Gordon was not let down, as The Sinnerman revealed himself to be the Chaser for the night, according to the Daily Record.
After coming out, the chaser said: “‘Thank you for calling me gracious...you’re the biggest idiot I've ever seen in my life."
Gordon did not let Auld Reekie down either by securing a £7,000 total in the cash builder before returning safely to his teammates.
Following on the successful streak, the second contestant Peter also bagged a large total for the team and made it back for the final round.
While Chloe was caught, Helen too managed to make it back, and the team were left with a total of £23,000 to win.
Unfortunately, the group were caught by the chaser in the final round and left empty handed.
