Edinburgh company Brewdog are planning a worldwide chain of beer drive throughs

Beer connoisseur Brewdog has announced plans to open a brand new range of drive-throughs around the world.

The Scottish brewer took to social media today to reveal plans and designs for stage one of the project that will involve four new pick up points to pick up pints.

However, three of the four sites will be dotted around the world, with one set for Brisbane, Ohio and Berlin as well as a trial drive through in the UK.

According to Brewdog, the new initiative is to be more than just a cool new way of picking up a few drinks, with the company looking to "find ways to deliver cold, fresh craft beer direct to our customers in a way that is better for the planet.”

"There will be beer collection points, hubs for electric vehicle deliveries and hubs for closed loop, zero waste packaging such as growlers, mini-kegs & returnable bottles.”
