An Edinburgh community post office in Blackhall has reopened to the public in a brand new location.
Blackhall Post Office opened on Monday, January 30 at The Corner Shop on Craigcrook Road after the old Post Office closed in the summer last year.

This has restored Post Office services to the area starting from today after many residents were left to travel to another area to access vital services.
The previous branch on Marischal Place closed in August due to the resignation of the Postmaster. This permanent solution inside a convenience store has restored Post Office services to this area of Edinburgh.
The opening hours of the new store are Monday to Friday: 9am – 4pm, providing 35 hours of service to the community a week.

Steven Simpson, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored services to the Blackhall area of Edinburgh as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.”
