An entire class of pupils at St Joseph's RC Primary School in Edinburgh are being made to self-isolate after positive Covid cases.
Back in August, a handful of pupils from a class at the school were told to self-isolate for the first time.
Since then, the same class has been made to stay at home on a further four occasions, a source told Edinburgh Live.
It's not the only Edinburgh primary School currently in isolation due to the coronavirus, as it is understood that at least three full classes have been told to stay at home at Hermitage Park Primary School.
On March 22, parents were sent a letter from the school to inform them that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the school and that children who had been in direct contact with the confirmed case would be staying at home for ten days.
The letter from Hermitage Park reads: "Dear Parent/CarerThere has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the school.
"Children who have been in direct contact with the confirmed case have been contacted and will be staying at home for 10 days.
"If your child has not been contacted and remains well, you should continue to follow the schools existing arrangements for your child."

A City of Edinburgh Council spokesperson said: “We are working with NHS Lothian’s Health Protection team and parents and the wider school community have been provided with information and reassurance.
"We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the advice provided."
