Edinburgh city centre road closures announced for Marathon Festival weekend

Event organisers behind the Edinburgh Marathon Festival have released a full list of road closures and parking restrictions for the events.

Across May 26, 27 and 28 roads across Edinburgh and East Lothian will be closed off at various times for the marathon, half marathon, EMF relay and other events. Starting on Potterow, the main route goes through the old town, Princes Street Gardens and the Palace of Holyrood before heading down to Portobello.

Runners will then reach Musselburgh, before turning back and heading along the coast. Scroll down to check which city centre streets will be blocked off at which times, with the rest of the closures and parking restrictions available here.
