Edinburgh city centre gets stylish new Korean restaurant serving quick bites

A swish new Korean restaurant has opened in the city centre and - just minutes from Edinburgh University.

Korean Munchies opened on Monday, April 3 on Nicolson Street in Southside, and was already busy on its second day of opening with many locals popping in to explore the new diner.

The eatery specialising in Korean cuisine has a good-sized menu with many quick and classic dishes including Mini Cup Ramyeon described as "famous instant cup noodles" and Tteokbokki a classic Korean rice cake dish.

Another highlight of the menu is the Dakgangjung which are boneless deep-fried chicken bites served with a selection of authentic dips.

The whole menu is very reasonably priced and Korean Bites looks like it could be a hot new lunch spot in the busy area.
