A car fire has been causing significant disruption on the Edinburgh City Bypass.
Traffic Scotland reported news of an incident on the eastbound carriageway, near to the Sheriffhall Roundabout, shortly after 1pm.
Fire crews and trunk road support teams have been on the scene dealing with the incident.
One lane was blocked and traffic was building in the area.
Traffic Scotland confirmed at around 1.45pm that the vehicle had been towed off and the lane had reopened.
