Edinburgh's City Bypass was this evening closed to traffic due to a crash near Baberton.
The westbound stretch of the route was off-limits from around 7.40pm with motorists being diverted off the Baberton exit slip.
Traffic Scotland initially reported news of the collision shortly after 7pm.
Lengthy queues were building with very slow traffic queued back to Dreghorn.
The road was fully reopened to traffic around 8.40pm.
This follows an earlier accident on the same route between Hermiston Gait and Gogar. This has since been cleared.
