Edinburgh Christmas cocktail club event will run over seven bars and nightclubs

Edinburgh's Christmas Cocktail Club will return after a two year absence, offering the chance for customers to try some of the finest mixes from some of the finest bars in the city.

Popular bar and restaurant, Tigerlily, is one of the featured venues that will participate in the boozy festive event, with wristbands available for £5.

There will also be a special guest attending the seven contributing venues, none other than Santa himself. The man in red will be showcasing some special Christmas cocktails after the event in 2019 had over 8,500 attendees.

After purchasing a wristband, customers will have special access to the cocktails that are also priced at £5, a snip compared to what you would usually pay.

Some of the featured mixes include 'Dreaming of a flat white Christmas', a seasonal take on the trendy Espresso Martini, including Grey Goose Vodka and topped with a vanilla marshmallow.

'Twinkle Twinkle' also tops the list of festive beverages, including elder-flower liquor, Sauvignon Banc and white grapes.

To keep guests guessing that little bit longer, the full exclusive cocktail menu will be released on November 14.

Managing Director of Montpeliers Group, who's bars are featured for the event, said: "Our Christmas Cocktail Club is a highlight of the year for us and has been really missed by both the team and guests. We’d love to top the results we saw in 2019 but more than anything, we’re looking forward to seeing our customers enjoying the festivities once again and seeing the Christmas buzz back in all our venues."

The other venues included in this event include Rabble Taphouse & Grill, Indigo Yard, Montpeliers Bar & Brasserie, Candy Bar, Eastside and Lulu. Wristbands are on sale now and the event will run until December 31.

After last year's festivities were limited to people's own homes, Montpeliers are hoping to replicate the success of 2019 and encourage people to start their Christmas in style with friends and loved ones.

Cocktail wristbands are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. You can book yours here.
