Chips, cheese and curry sauce - a true Scottish delicacy. And, in true Scottish tradition, what better way to honour the combo than by throwing it on top of a pizza base?
Well, Edinburgh chippy Spicy Bite has done just that and has delighted foodies on TikTok after sharing their weird (yet wonderful?) creation.
The Fountainbridge chip shop shared their genius idea on TikTok as they covered a pizza base with the God-tier takeaway combination.
Staff posted a video of them making the carb-heavy creation, using curry sauce instead of the usual tomato as a base for the pizza before covering it with a sprinkling of cheese.
The chef then loaded it with chips and more cheese (obviously) before baking it in the oven until golden brown and melted.
Uploading it to TikTok, the takeaway wrote: "It actually tasted amazing!"
Fans were amazed by the pizza and took to the comments desperate to try the creative dish.
One wrote: "I would 100% buy one of those."
Another commented: "Tell me you're in Scotland without telling me you're in Scotland."
"Hear me out, a wee bit chopped up chicken pakora before the cheese," a third penned.
A fourth wrote: "So am I allowed to travel from Wales to Scotland for pizza? Seems essential travel to me!"
The takeaway restaurant delighted its followers by confirming they had indeed added it to the menu, with the 'Curry N Chip' pizza available for just £6.
