Could your child be the next person to grace the famous stage of the Edinburgh Playhouse - following in the footsteps of some of the biggest musical theatre stars in the world?
As The King and I, one of the greatest musicals of all time, returns to the iconic venue this Autumn, the production have put out an open call to give one lucky child a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the cast.
Open auditions will be taking place at The Playhouse from 10am tomorrow morning for the role of one of The King's Royal Children.
They are looking for a boy or a girl of East Asian or Southeast Asian heritage (or mixed heritage), aged between eight and 10 years old.
The Scottish premiere will run at the Playhouse from October 17 to October 26.
To apply email Office@trafalgarentertainment.com with a small passport style photo and some information about the child’s age, location and any experience or training (drama, dance or singing classes) they may have had.
All children auditioning will be required to sing and dance and will need to be available to rehearse for two days between September 30 and October 16.
To help promote the show , they will also take part in some publicity appearances before and during the run.
