Adding to the hype, Ramsay also posted a short clip on Twitter today (December 16) of himself standing outside his new venue, with the caption: "Scotland so good to be back... at Bread Street Kitchen Edinburgh !!!"

Bread Street Kitchen has been open since December 12 for lunch, dinner and late-night drinks seven days a week. The main dining room seats up to 140 guests and there's a stunning bar area with a selection pf premium whiskies as well as top notch cocktails.

Guests will be queuing round the block to hopefully catch of a glimpse of Ramsay, with his recent Twitter video promising to send fans crazy.

Kitchin, who was born in Edinburgh, opened his first restaurant in the city in 2006 and one year later, it was awarded a Michelin Star.

He has since opened two more venues in the city. The Castle Terrace, which closed permanently last year, and The Scran & Scallie, which was named as one of the UK's best gastro-pubs this year.
