A cafe in Edinburgh has asked heartless vandals to come forward after capturing them smashing their door in on CCTV.

Bowls on Forrest Road has faced a second act of vandalism against their shop after reopening in April this year.

Shameless Edinburgh teenagers post TikTok videos of vandalism and fire-starting during lockdown

"This time we have CCTV the person came today at around 5pm, please get back to us. The last image is the people that vandalised us, if you know or recognise them, please tell them to get back to us as soon as possible.

"We are sad and we really don’t want to make any trouble for you, so I’m sorry but if you don’t come to us in the next few days we really have to contact the police and provide them the video evidence.

"Again, we are really displeased with this and would like you to come out please."

One local business commented on the post: "This is horrible. Really hope you catch them - shouldn’t be an issue in the first place."

The news comes after a spate of vandalism during lockdown in which several businesses and vehicles across the capital were targeted.
