A cooking segment on daytime television show This Morning featured an "amazing" food product made in Edinburgh.
Chef James Martin appeared on the show to talk about "one of his favourite things", butter.
Next to him on the counter were butters from around the UK, including a 1kg sheet from Scotland's capital's own Edinburgh Butter Co.

Before using the dairy product to make foods such as chicken milanese, fudge, and chocolate cake, the chef picked up the slab of the butter and unwrapped it.
He stated that "we produce some of the best in the UK", holding up the Edinburgh company's butter sheet, and complimented the "most amazing farmers".

Edinburgh Butter Co. co-owner Nick Sinclair said: "We got a request to supply some butter last week to the ITV studios so had a bit of a heads up it was going to happen but wasn't quite ready for how much we featured, especially our 1kg block of sheet butter which we sell all over the UK to artisan bakers for their pastry requirements, James definitely seemed to like that best!
"It was pretty amazing and slightly surreal to think the butter he was holding on TV was produced by us last week in a small factory here in Edinburgh.
He added: "I think what was even better though was the general discussion about butter and the quality of butters that are made right here in the UK. "
"We're proud to be a small part of that movement here in the UK and hopefully with more coverage it will highlight some of the amazing things UK butter producers are doing."
