Edinburgh Burger King customer raging at cold vegan whopper with no sauce

An Edinburgh Burger King customer is raging after he got a cold vegan whopper with no sauce which he described as 'stone cold' and 'p*** poor'.

David Macneill felt completely let down when he received the sad looking burger from the Fountainpark fast food branch and complained there were no condiments available.

He paid around £10 for the vegan whopper meal with fries and drink but was disappointed with the temperature of the food and portion sizes.

The burger is advertised as a vegan alternative to the Burger King classic with salad and sauce and looks delicious in the advertised picture but the whopper, David received was not up to scratch.

The burger in the advert has no similarities to the sad looking whopper that the chef was served in the takeaway joint.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live David Macneill said: "I never expect too much from fast food places. They are what they are but that vegan whopper was awful.

"It came to £10.68 in total. I got an extra vegan whopper patty on the burger because I was really looking forward to it and I'm greedy."

He added: "My fries where pretty cold and not salted. I asked for a salt sachet and a pepper sachet but it seems they don't do that now. No ketchup available either.

"The food was not tasty. I've had vegan whoppers elsewhere and they've been alright but this place was not like other burger kings."

"Big chains get away with this all the time as its so laborious to jump through all the online hoops in order to register a complaint."
