Edinburgh brother and sister launch sportswear weekend pop up shop

An Edinburgh-based sportswear brand founded by a brother and sister duo is set to open its first in-person store as part of a special pop-up this weekend.

Fallain Fitness has quickly become popular since launching online in October last year and will now welcome customers through the door on Dundas Street on Saturday and Sunday.

The brand, which translates into Scots Gaelic as ‘healthy,’ aims to provide sportswear which “escapes the ordinary” and will debut on Amazon Prime later this month.

Philip Tod, who founded the brand alongside sister Andrea, said: “Fallain Fitness was formed as we identified a gap in the market for fitness clothing that was stylish, comfortable and practical.

“We’re passionate about our Scottish roots and love for health and well-being and we have already managed to get into two Scottish gyms, with plans for more in the near future.

“We’re really excited about expanding further and can’t wait to welcome customers to experience our creations in person this weekend.”

The Fallain Fitness pop-up will open at 134 Dundas Street from 9am-2pm on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19.
