Edinburgh bike shop's bid to set world record for fixing punctures

Got a bicycle with a punctured wheel that you can't fix yourself?

Fortunately there's an event coming up where you can get it patched for free this Thursday.

The Bike Station, a bicycle recycling shop on Causewayside, are attempting to set the world record for the largest number of puncture repaired in half an hour.

They're appealing for any cyclists to come along and take part, with free puncture kits available for those who do so.

Organisers say: "Come along to the Bike Station Edinburgh on Thursday 6th at 3.45pm, and at 4pm we will be attempting to set the World record for the most punctures fixed simultaneously in 30 mins.

"This will be set across several locations at the same time (4-4.30pm)."
