The capital is set to see the weather pick up very soon, and in fact, sooner than you may think.
According to weather forecasters at the BBC, Edinburgh will see highs of 20C starting on Monday (August 1) with highs of 19C, 17C and 18C set for the same week.
And in even better news, the chance of rain is set to remain pretty low.

The BBC Weather website states that starting August 8 (Monday), temperatures will rise to 19C with the sun set to stay out for much of the day. This compares to the previous day where we will still see highs of 19C however cloud will cool down the city.
The next day on August 9, highs of 19C are expected yet again. This then jumps up on Wednesday where we will see 21C - the highest all week where we should see the highs from between 2pm until 5pm.
On Thursday to Saturday, we will then see highs of 20C across all three days. Again, the chances of rain are set to remain low.
So with the BBC predicting this, what does the Met Office have to say about the week ahead?
