Edinburgh Antiques Fair is almost upon is with scores of retro and vintage goods

Those who love their vintage and retro goods are in for a treat as Scotland's biggest antiques event will be returning to Edinburgh later this month.

The Edinburgh Antiques, Vintage and Collectors Fair will take place at the Royal Highland Centre on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September.

Organisers say there will be hundreds of dealers from all across the country with a wide range of retro and vintage items.

So you can probably expect plenty of jewellery, silver, clothing, furniture, ceramics, glass and other accessories.

Those at the Royal Highland Centre say: "This super event allows you to keep stocked up on pre-loved goods and indulge in your historic passion.

"Whether you favour traditional antique glamour, vintage chic and retro cool, this is the fair that will deliver."

The event will be open on the Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm with entry £5, and on the Sunday it will be open from 10am to 4pm with entry £4. Children under 16 go free.

Parking at the Royal Highland Centre is charged at £5 per car.
