When it comes to planning a holiday, many of us focus on the trip and how we're going to get to and from the airport.
This makes sense as it's the most important part, right?
But what a lot of us don't plan is how we're going to spend our time once we're waiting for our flights — and passing the time until you're able to board can be a lot when you're travelling with kids.

And whilst waiting can be stressful, it's always good to know there are plenty of places for you to sit down to grab a cuppa or breakfast before you jet away to your chosen destination.
So to help you out and do all the work for you, we have made a list of what's currently open at Edinburgh Airport for food and drinks.
Before security
There are three options before you head through — all of which are coffee.
Starbucks
This coffee shop is open from 6am to 10pm
Costa
Their opening hours are 6am to 10pm
Caffè Nero
There are a few of these spreading throughout the airport, however the only one before security is open from 8am to 4pm.
After security
There are a lot more options after security — nine to be exact.
There are a variety of places to choose from, including Krispy Kreme and Hudson St Grill — and more coffee shops.
