Border Force- Border Force Officer
With a salary of up to £31,950 (and a minimum of £25,750) per year, this role with the Home Office is vital for the international airport.
The job description says: "Border Force check all passengers and freight arriving in the UK by air and sea and conduct intelligence-led searches for prohibited, counterfeit or restricted goods such as drugs, firearms, weapons, cash, tobacco, and alcohol.
"We also support the department's wider agenda in high-profile areas such as counter-terrorism, tackling organised crime, modern slavery, and human trafficking.
"This is some of the most important and challenging work in Government, and its impact can be felt in communities across the UK."
To apply for this position, one needs to hold a valid UK manual driving licence, be over 18 years old, and be entitled to UK citizenship.
