Edinburgh Airport contract secured by St Asaph IT firm

A leading IT specialist has won the contract to deliver a major infrastructure management program at Edinburgh Airport.

The Scottish airport has selected Pinacl-GDA’s Celsius Suite to be its program of choice to document its infrastructure throughout the airport, as well as manage and monitor an audit and network refresh.

Pinacl-GDA has offices in St Asaph, London and India.

The Celsius Suite centrally manages, monitors and troubleshoots clients’ ICT infrastructure related issues.

Celsius Core is installed in most major UK airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and at the British Airways’ Headquarters.

Recently Celsius Core has been installed at Stansted Airport where it is documenting the network infrastructure for the whole airport.

Chris Wood, Pinacl-GDA’s sales director, said: "Airport Cabling Infrastructure is becoming more complex and more mission critical as we rely more and more on technology to make our airports a safe and secure environment.”

Liam Wynne, Pinacl-GDA’s managing director said: “This is a significant win for Pinacl-GDA which really bolsters our position in the market place as the only systems integrator with our own, stable, mature, best-in-class structured cabling management software which outputs relevant management information.

"Everyone at Pinacl-GDA are delighted to be supporting yet another prestigious airport in the UK.”
