Edinburgh Airport is welcoming a new fleet to its runway along with a new direct route.
Canadian airline WestJet will prepare for take off from Edinburgh Airport next year offering a direct route to Canada.
This comes after the news that Virgin Atlantic will be flying Scots direct to to the Caribbean from Edinburgh.

Holiday-makers and keen travellers will be able to jet off to Toronto three times a week from Scotland's capital from June 2 2022.
Flights will leave Edinburgh to Toronto on Wednesdays, Friday and Sundays Boeing 737 Max.
The long haul flight will take seven hours and 17 minutes and only six hours and 40 minutes.
This is the first time a Canadian airline has set up home in Edinburgh.
Canada was recently added to the green list earlier this month, allowing Brits to return from Canada without having to isolate, but still need to take a day 2 test on return.
WestJet’s decision to fly from Edinburgh grows the connections Scotland’s capital has with North America, with more transatlantic carriers expected to resume services next year.
