Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to identify and speak with after a woman was raped in Edgware.

The woman, in her 50s, was attacked in Watling Park, off Cressingham Road in north London, at 9.30pm on Saturday, 28 August.

Police said she was being supported by specially trained officers.

An investigation was launched by the Met’s north west basic command public protection unit, which covers Barnet.

On Thursday, police released images taken from Burnt Oak Station of the man they wish to speak with in connection with the incident on the August bank holiday weekend.

Detectives would also like to speak with anyone who was in the Watling Park area between 7pm and 10.30pm on that day.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
