Eden Hazard urged to learn from Gareth Bale mistake after Real Madrid presentation

Eden Hazard has been urged to learn from a mistake made by Gareth Bale after being presented as a Real Madrid player.

Thousands of Real supporters flocked to the Bernabeu to welcome Hazard following his £130m move from Chelsea .

Hazard completed his medical on Thursday before being presented as a Real Madrid player alongside president Florentino Perez.

The Belgian's address to the supporters was brief but he did bring a cheer by stating 'Hola a todos' - which translates as 'Hi everyone'.

“I’ll speak French because my Spanish needs improvement," he said.

"I want to thank the president and my family. I’m looking forward to playing in this shirt, defending this club and winning trophies. It was always my dream as kid.”

Hazard is Real's first Galactico signing since Bale and fans were quick to notice the similarities in the presentations.

Bale was also unable to speak Spanish when he joined Real in 2013 and reports suggest he has been unable to grasp the language.

That has proved to be one issue as Bale fights for his Bernabeu career and Hazard has been urged not to make the same mistake.

Hazard became Real's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo.

Ferland Mendy also arrived this week from Lyon but fans know who they want to be their next signing.

Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen have both been linked with the Spanish giants but during Hazard's presentation, fans were heard chanting for Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe is said to be considering his future at PSG but Real face paying a world-record fee to land the French teenager and that means a switch is unlikely this summer.
