Eden Hazard to Real Madrid? Maurizio Sarri has not spoken with Chelsea star about Zinedine Zidane

Maurizio Sarri claims he is not worried about increasing talk that Eden Hazard will leave Chelsea for Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Standard Sport revealed last month that the Belgium international had been elevated above Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to become Real Madrid’s top summer transfer target.

Hazard, who has just over a year left on his contract, has consistently admitted that it is his dream to join the La Liga club and his idol Zinedine Zidane has now returned as coach after a 10 months absence.

It is believed the only issue now is whether Real Madrid can agree a fee with the Blues, who want in excess of £100m.

Sarri admits he hasn’t even spoken to the Belgium international about the fresh links to the Bernabeu.

He said: “I don't know (what will happen). You'll have to ask Hazard, I think. At the moment, I didn't speak with Eden about Zidane so I don't know.

Zinedine Zidane re-appointed as Real Madrid manager

“I am not worried because you know very well my opinion: I want in my team only the players who want to play for Chelsea, so I cannot be worried.”
