Eden Hazard to agree transfer deal to leave Chelsea 'within days'

Chelsea star Eden Hazard will reportedly agree a deal to leave the club within the next few days.

The Belgian has long been linked with Real Madrid and is now on the verge of finally making his dream move to the Bernabeu.

According to Marca , the two clubs and the player are close to reaching an agreement and he is set to travel to Madrid soon to seal the deal.

Returning manager Zinedine Zidane had the transfer signed off by the club last week after assessing his squad and Hazard is set to land a six-year deal when he departs Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian was wanted by Los Blancos last summer but they withdrew their interest when Chelsea set a huge asking price.

But Hazard himself talked up the move by admitting it would be a dream to play for the La Liga giants and talking up future boss Zidane.

"Me, you know me, I've always loved Real, even before (Zinedine) Zidane, we'll see what happens," he said in December.

"As I said, I'm already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we'll see."

The feelings are certainly reciprocated, with Zidane hailed the "fantastic" attacking talent earlier this week.

”He's a player I have always appreciated," Zidane said.

”Everyone knows that. He has played in France, I have watched him a lot and I know him personally. He is a fantastic player."

Chelsea will still have hopes of keeping hold of their star man but Real Madrid have money to spend and seem to have their heart set on top target Hazard as they eye a summer rebuild.
