Tottenham face Real Madrid in the Audi Cup in Munich this afternoon (Tuesday).
The match will see Eden Hazard start for the fourth consecutive game for Los Blancos following his €130million move from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old openly admitted that it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid and he got his wish this summer, joining the Bernabeu outfit in June, following more than a year of speculation over his Blues future.
But the speculation has continued over which shirt number he will wear for the Spanish giants.
Hazard famously wore the number 10 shirt for Chelsea, but that is not available in the Spanish capital, because it is taken by Luka Modric.
Hazard mentioned wanting the shirt, saying: "I jokingly asked him if he could leave me No.10, he said no, I have to find another number.
"For me the number is not important, but to play with this shirt, with this badge."
The number seven would be Hazard's second choice, but that is currently taken by frontman Mariano Diaz, who is likely to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
Whether he does or not, we could see Hazard taking the number seven anyway.
But during the pre-season, including today's clash against Tottenham Hazard will wear the number 50 - which has come as something of a surprise for supporters.
And the reason for that? Because Hazard wanted to pay homage to the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing, which took place on July 16, 1969.
With the squad numbers not assigned yet, Hazard was allowed to choose his number for the friendlies and decided, on the year of the anniversary of the big NASA mission, to go with 50.
