Eden Hazard's masterclass in Real Madrid return had Chelsea fans drawing the same conclusion

The flame is still burning bright for Chelsea supporters, it seems.

Eden Hazard's first appearance for Real Madrid since mid-February saw the former Blue notch one assist while also playing a role in the build up to his team's other two goals as they defeated Eibar 3-1 on Sunday evening to keep up the chase of Barcelona in La Liga.

Barca have a two-point lead on top of the table with ten games remaining.

While it was only the 29-year-old's second assist of a difficult and injury interrupted La Liga campaign that has seen him make 10 starts, he looked sharp before being replaced as part of a triple substitution from Zinedine Zidane on the hour mark.

Hazard clearly remains much-loved among Chelsea fans, with dozens of viewers sharing the same opinion online: that they are in denial and feel like Hazard is only on loan in Madrid.

Real, who are playing their home games at their training ground while the Bernabeu is undergoing renovations, are back in action against Valencia on Thursday night.

All Spanish games, which are being spread seven days a week, are live on La Liga TV.

The league's own channel is also offering a free trial until July 1 with registration available on their website.
