Eden Hazard's Gareth Bale problem dismissed as Zinedine Zidane calls on "motherf*****"

Zinedine Zidane is confident that Eden Hazard will eventually be able to show his best form for Real Madrid, ultimately believing that the Belgian will play "like a motherf*****" for the Spanish giants.

Hazard has looked a shadow of his former self ever since joining Real from Chelsea in what was seen as a dream transfer in the summer of 2019.

Injury issues have blighted the attacker across his two seasons in the Spanish capital, with Hazard only making 35 appearances across his two seasons at the club, scoring four goals.

Having not played since the end of January, Hazard suffered another setback in his attempts to return earlier this month when he sustained a muscle problem.

His repeated issues mean that no timeframe has been put on his return from the latest injury, although it is hoped that he will play again before the end of the month.

Real fans are still to see the best of a player who wowed fans at Stamford Bridge for seven seasons in the Premier League, and there have been some concerns that Hazard has developed repeated fitness issues akin to those that Gareth Bale often used to suffer from in Madrid.

Zidane, though, is confident that isn't the case, and is pinning his hopes on Hazard returning in top condition very soon.

"He has had a long injury that he's never had before, so it's natural he will feel some discomfort," said Zidane at a press conference on Friday, via Marca.

"He has a long contract with us and when he gets fit, he will play like a motherf*****.

"I'm very positive and I'd like to speak to our fans and say that when you aren't 100 percent things feel very complicated, but Hazard will do very well here."
