Eden Hazard reveals what Maurizio Sarri said to Chelsea players in half-time team talk

Eden Hazard has revealed what Maurizio Sarri told the Chelsea players at half-time to inspire them to a memorable Europa League final triumph over Arsenal .

Hazard bid a glorious farewell to Chelsea by netting a brace as Sarri's side roared past the Gunners to seal European success in Azerbaijan.

The north Londoners collapsed as a tepid first half made way for a memorable second period at the sparsely-filled Baku Olympic Stadium, where Chelsea manager Sarri masterminded a 4-1 win that brought his first major trophy.

And Hazard has revealed that the Italian boss remained calm at half-time despite the goalless opening period.

"[He told us] just to keep playing, to play our football, like what we did in the second half," Hazard told BT Sport.

"We know we are good players when we fight and play together. Today we showed that, for the fans, the manager and the staff. We're just happy to lift this trophy.

"The first half both teams had stress because of the final. But when we score I think it was the beginning of a great night. We played a good second half and we had chances at the end."

Hazard, meanwhile, conceded he is likely to have played his last game for Chelsea after scoring twice in their Europa League final victory.

The Belgian had previously said he would reveal his plans for the future following the game in Baku and, after initially being reticent to commit himself, told BT Sport: "I think it's a goodbye but in football you never know.

"My dream was to play in Premier League, I did this for seven years in one of the biggest clubs in the world so now maybe it's time for a new challenge."
