Eden Hazard may have provided his most important assist for Chelsea.
The Belgian departed the Stamford Bridge outfit last summer as he joined Real Madrid for £90million shortly after the Europa League final win over Arsenal, with the fee being paid out in installments.
It was also reported that the fee could rise to as high as £130m if certain clauses are triggered.
The first of which can now be activated after Los Blancos wrestled back the La Liga title from Barcelona on Thursday night.
Madrid's 2-1 win over Villarreal coupled with Barca's shock home defeat at the hands of Osasuna means Zinedine Zidane's side have been crowned champions of Spain for the 34th time in their history.
And their success is fantastic news for Hazard's former club.
Reports claim the Blues are in line to receive a welcome windfall which could be as much as £18m, and that would go a long way to funding a summer transfer for Kai Havertz who will reportedly cost in the region of £90m.
That will add to the £16.2m Chelsea have already banked after the sales of Mario Pasalic and Nathan to Atalanta and Atletico Mineiro respectively.
While supporters can dream about the prospect of Havertz arriving in west London this summer, Hazard has taken to social media and celebrated winning the league title in his first season in Spain.
Hazard uploaded several images on to his Instagram account - including one of him posing with the trophy alongside fellow ex-Blue Thibaut Courtois.
There was also an Instagram story of him and Real Madrid wonderkid Rodrygo.
The caption on Hazard's post reads "Campeones" which is 'champions' in translation and he got a response from a familiar face.
John Terry - a former teammate of the Belgium international - replied by saying: "Congratulations mate" with a trophy emoji.
In addition, Asmir Begovic and Jamal Blackman also congratulated Hazard.
