Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted that he has struggled since leaving Stamford Bridge to join Real Madrid, following a turbulent first campaign in the Spanish capital.
The Belgium international has been hampered by injury problems at the Santiago Bernabeu, which has limited him to just 10 league appearances and one goal.
In his absence, Real Madrid have struggled to find consistency in attack, with veteran Karim Benzema the only player to hit double figures in the league this term.
While Hazard admits things haven't gone as planned, he has urged supporters to judge him after his second season in Spanish football.
"My first season at Madrid is bad, but not everything is bad," the 29-year-old told RTBF (via Goal).
"It is an adaptation season. I will be judged in the second. It is up to me to be in good shape next year. The group is good, I have met new people. For me it is a great experience. I still have four years of contract, I hope be in good shape."
Like the majority of leagues across the world, La Liga is currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and Hazard also spoke about being in self-isolation.
"I'm not saying I can't catch it, but I'm inside the house, nobody's coming, we can't see anyone. I'm a little scared, like everyone else, but I especially have to be careful not to pass it on to others [if I get it], that is the most delicate thing.
"We have to take care of ourselves. I am concerned about weaker people, who have more problems, yes."
