Eden Hazard joins Arsenal and Man United legends in elite group to achieve unique milestone

Eden Hazard's has achieved something during this season that not many achieve in the Premier League.

The Belgian has joined a group of just three other players, including Thierry Henry and Eric Cantona, in both scoring and assisting 15 or more Premier League goals in just one season.

Hazard finished the season as the league's top assist maker, having set up 15 goals for his teammates. Adding in the further 16 goals that he scored during the season, the Chelsea man has been involved in more goals than any other player in the league during the 2018/19 season (31).

Chelsea have the edge in signing Luka Jovic over Man United - even with transfer ban

That feat puts his into an elite group of just three other players - Eric Cantona of Manchester United, Matt Le Tissier of Southampton and Thierry Henry of Arsenal.

Cantona reached the number during the first ever Premier League season (1992/93), where the Frenchman recorded 15 goals and 16 assists - giving him the same goal involvement as Hazard this season.

The best Premier League goal involvement came from Thierry Henry in the 2002/03 season. The striker scored 24 goals and provided 20 assists during the season, giving him a goal involvement of 44, nine more than anyone else has ever managed.

Southampton stalwart Matt Le Tissier was involved in 35 goals, scoring 19 and assisting 16 during the 1994/95 season, and joins Cantona, Henry and Hazard to make up the now four man list.

Hazard has been very heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer, if reports are to be believed and the player is on his way out of Stamford Bridge, this is another statistic to show just how much he will be missed by both the club and fans.

The full details of the four players to reach the achievement can be seen below.
