Eden Hazard hints at Chelsea return when time at Real Madrid is complete

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has vowed to return to the club when his time at Real Madrid is complete.

Hazard joined Los Blancos in the summer for an initial £88.5million fee after winning six major trophies during his time with the Stamford Bridge club.

But this season, the Belgian superstar has failed to hit the heights expected, managing just one goal so far - and is now sidelined with a fractured ankle picked up against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League last month.

And when approached by a Chelsea fan and asked whether he would one day return to the Bridge, Hazard was quick in his response.

"When I finish here I’ll come back," he said with a smile and a cheeky wink, before admitting he has watched Frank Lampard's side in action this season.

"When I can I watch. Not all the time," Hazard added. "They are doing well, they’re young. Now they can pay for players, they can buy players now.

"I do my job here and then I come back."

Hazard’s side currently sit second in La Liga behind Barcelona on goal difference - while Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League table after a successful to life under Lampard.
